Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
CST is a gentle hands on approach which helps improve central nervous system function. The CST practitioner uses their hands as a diagnostic or therapeutic tool to assess and treat the physical body and central nervous system. By complementing the body's natural healing process, CST can benefit the body in a number of ways.

Independent Educational Assessment
If you, as a parent of a child with a disability, do not agree with the results of the individualized evaluation of your child, as conducted by the school system, you have the right to obtain what is known as an Independent Educational Evaluation, or an IEE (§300.502). This means that you may ask that a professional, competent evaluator who is not employed by the school system conduct another evaluation of your child. Our therapists are qualified to perform these IEE's and we have an excellent relationship with AACPS to schedule and perform these assessments.

Telehealth
Teletherapy is therapy that is provided over a secure video connection. We are able to provide speech, feeding, occupational and physical therapies via telehealth. Research has shown that teletherapy is as effective as in-person therapy. Our therapists are experienced and innovative; making each session unique, fun and productive for your child. We would be happy to discuss your child’s needs and how sessions would look for their specific personality and therapy goals.

Executive Functioning
Children with executive functioning deficits often have trouble with tasks that require planning, organization, and self-regulation. These skills are important for academic success and for everyday living. Executive functioning and occupational therapy interventions can help students develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in life.
Massage Therapy
We are excited to offer massage therapy to our parents! This will be offered at our Harwood location. Parents can have their own therapeutic appointment! Here's a message from our massage therapist:
Hi, I’m Mara McFarland, a licensed massage therapist (MD Licence #06004). I’ve been giving therapeutic massage for several years and excel in providing relief and relaxation using multiple modalities, such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, and Thai bodywork. As a mother of a special needs son, I understand feeling exhausted and worn out. I’d like to help by offering massages at the farm. Beside typical offerings of 60 and 90 minute massages, I want to provide a service of a 30 minute massage to caregivers, provided during your child’s therapy. These 30 minute “mini massages” can be done clothed or unclothed, and either on the table or in a massage chair. I could provide full body relaxation or just do detailed work on your problem areas, i.e, neck and shoulders, back, or feet. My prices are: $45/30 minutes, $85/60 minutes, and $120/90 minutes. Call or text me at 410-507-7093 to book or if you have any questions. Hope to see you soon.
Social Skills
Our social skills programs are designed to facilitate positive peer interactions. Children participate in fun activities that work on social skills such as greeting, cooperative play, sharing, turn taking, making friends, resolving conflict, and communication. Individual therapy goals from PT, OT, and/or SLP programs are integrated into our groups. Our groups are small, they are formed to accommodate the needs, interests, and age of each participant.
