Owner, Physical Therapist

I am the proud owner of Annapolis Children’s Therapy Center. I have been a pediatric physical therapist for over 30 years. What an amazing career I am having. I have had the pleasure of working with so many amazing children and families in many settings including a special needs daycare, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, developmental evaluation clinics, homecare, and private practice. I started this private practice for many reasons. I wanted to be able to balance my work and family life. I wanted to provide the very best therapy services to children and families and keep these families as the primary focus. This practice has grown to allow therapists to achieve work and family life balance and we continue to keep our families as our primary focus. I had no idea how amazing this practice would grow to be and I am blessed to be surrounded by talented, smart, creative, passionate, compassionate, caring co- workers.

Jennie Rothschild

Jennie Rothschild

Occupational Therapist

Hi, I'm Jennie and I am an Occupational Therapist at ACTC! I have a passion for connecting with kids and making a meaningful difference in their lives. Outside of the therapy gym, you'll often find me enjoying the great outdoors with my four-legged companion, River – who's always up for an adventure.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies from Quinnipiac University in 2019. I then received my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Towson University, graduating in 2022. My journey to becoming an occupational therapist took me through some incredible experiences. During my time at Sheppard Pratt, I had the opportunity to work alongside adults navigating mental health challenges. This experience underscored the importance of a holistic approach to care, which I've carried forward into my work. And speaking of carrying forward, my experiences at Howard County Public Schools allowed me to roll up my sleeves and tackle the world of picky eating with preschool-aged children. It was such a rewarding experience, as I learned to tailor interventions to the unique needs of each child.

My goal is to create a welcoming environment where both my kids and their families feel comfortable. It's about fostering growth, development, and positive change while building those meaningful connections that truly make a difference!

Julie Norton

Julie Norton

Occupational Therapist

Hi! My name is Julie Norton, and I have been a pediatric occupational therapist for 22 years. One of my greatest joys and loves in life is children, and besides calling all the children I work with “my kids” I have four beautiful children of my very own: Mylie, 21 (a junior at Long Island University and a Division I lacrosse goalie on the team there), Calen, 19 (a freshman at Iona University and a Division I midfielder on the lacrosse team), Adella, 16 (a junior at South River HS), and Marick, 14 (an 8th grader at Central MS). I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in Health and Exercise Science, and while I was there I played 4 years on the women’s lacrosse team. I then went on and got my master’s degree in occupational therapy at Towson University. Immediately I went into the pediatric setting and continue to love what I do. I have worked with children of various ages from birth to 18 years old with varying diagnoses and have worked on everything from fine motor, gross motor, and visual motor skills to self-regulation, activities of daily living, sensory processing, executive functioning, picky eating, and assisting parents, teachers, caregivers, etc. with anything that comes up during the child’s daily life. During my free time I love spending time with my family, coaching my daughters’ lacrosse teams, watching all of my children’s many sporting events, going to the beach, taking walks, reading, and cooking.
